Markie Post is a noted American actor best known for her portrayals of public defense Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABCs drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. Her roles include several other series apart from acting. She grew up with her two brothers and sisters in Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's wife, poetess Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and cheered. She was briefly a student at Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. The previous marriage she had was to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband from 1982. The couple have two daughters. Post's work as wife and mother as well as actress has been appreciated by a variety of Hollywood stars. Her initial roles as an actress included an episode of the Barnaby-Jones series in 1980 that was the pilot episode of Simon & Simon Details At Elevenin 1981, and episode one of The Greatest American Hero's second season from 1982, as well as The A-Team.
